Habitat: Submontane elfin forest, exposed summit dominated by Purdiaea belizensis, Clusia sp & Ternstroemia tepezapote. Numerous epiphytes, filmy ferns and bryophytes. Thin soil over granite rock covered with a thick, spongy layer of mosses.
Description: Terrestrial herb, up to 1.5m.
