Habitat: Growing on forest floor of primary evergreen broad - leaved forest
Description: Clump-forming herb, to 2.5 m high, green to purple at base. Rhizome branched, whitish inside, white or green outside. Leaves up to 19 per shoot; leaf sheaths green; Inflorescences basal, 1-2. Bracts imbricate, pink. Labellum orbicular, yellow, 3-lobes, recurved, 2-red stripes at margin from base to 1/2 labellum. Fruit capsule, smooth fruit, reddish.
