Collecting locality: Iran:Fars:42 miles SE of Shiraz on road to Firuzabad.
Habitat: Stony limestone hillside with mixed scrub. Growing in more exposed sites.
Description: Leaves deep green, veins silvery below. Bulbs 6-8cm soil surface with thick fleshy leaves. Fls. whitish. Falls with violet-blue veining & yellow crest and a violet zone in centre of the fall.
