Habitat: Cow pasture with patches of montane forest.
Description: Scandent terrestrial shrub. Stems erect to 1.5 m tall. Abaxial surface of leaves red. Calyx red and cucullate. Corolla mostly red with one small yellow patch on upper surface. Nectary a single lobed gland on ventral surface.
