Habitat: Submontane rainforest at edge of grassland.
Description: Tree, height 20m. Bark: grey brown outer, pink inner. Wood light straw. Leaves semi coriaceous, glossy dark green above, dull mid green below with loosely attached thick rust brown tomentum, also covering the upper surface of the lower leaves. Flowers brown tomentose with purplish stamens.
