Collecting locality: Ecuador:Morona-Santiago:Gualaceo-Limon road, 53-64 kms E of Gualaceo.
Habitat: Steep slopes with remnant cloud forest.
Description: Terrestrial shrub with branches to 1 m long; rachis & pedicels pale green suffused with pink; calyx tube pale green, limb translucent; lower 3/4 of corolla bright red, upper 1/4 plus limb & lobe white.
Miscellaneous notes: One plant seen.
