Collecting locality: Colombia:Departamento de Antioquia:Uramita-Peque road, 20-22 km above Uranta (Las Juntas).
Habitat: Steep road-side slopes through cloud forest.
Description: Terrestrial shrub 1-1.5 m tall; leaves succulent with thin, red margins; bracts dull red; calyx tube pale yellowish-green, limb suffused with pink; corolla tube dull red, limb and lobes yellowish-white, slightly zygomorphic; mature fruit light purple. Locally common.
