Habitat: Steep roadside with remnant forest vegetation.
Description: Terrestrial shrub arching to 2.5m tall from mostly single stems; rachis & pedicels pale green suffused with purple; calyx pale green at anthesis; corolla mauve to violet with paler lobes; fruit dark blue-black with pulp being eaten by ants. Scattered & infrequent.
