Habitat: Deciduous margin to Picea orientalis dominated secondary woodland, containing Rhododendron luteum, R. ponticum, Corylus avellana, Roas sp and Rubus caucasicus
Description: Deciduous shrub to H 2.5m, growing through stunted Picea orientalis, foliage mid green above pale silvery green below to L 16.5 cm X W 5.0 cm, seed head elongated capsule green ripening to brown/red L 22mm X W 8mm.
