Collecting locality: Brazil:Bahia:27 km S of Livramento do Brumado on road to Brumado, near two hamlets of Fazendinha and Itapicuru. Caatinga
Latitude: 13°53'S, Longitude: 41°45'W
Description: A spindly, flexuous shrub to 5m x 2 cm with rough, dark brown, peeling bark; leaflets bluish green; flowers pale tangerine-yellow, the keel even paler, back of standard striped dark purplish red; young fruits green. Locally common. Related to Aeschynomene martii but with much larger leaflets.
