Habitat: Moorland and bog.
Description: Dwarf twiggy evergreen shrub 40-50 cm. Leaves ovate, to 1 cm, densely scaly on both surfaces, very dark green above, paler below. Flowers purple to rosy-purple. Anthers black; filaments pale red.
