Description: Inflorescence cylindric, borne horizontally at ground level; bracts reflexed apically, pale green flushed red towards the tip, sparsely & minutely pubescent on both surfaces at the apex; bracteole translucent pink, calyx similar, entire; petals pale yellow-orange, dorsal broadest with stongly inrolled margins & acuminate tip; lateral petals united in lower 1/3 & connate (centrally) to the labellum at the point where they themselves unite; staminodes yellow-orange, margins crisped, central staminode entire; anthers white, slits chocolate-brown, pollen cream, style & stigma white, connective yellow; glands almost 1 mm thick, ovary tri-locular.
