Description: Flowers auxillary on pedicles 2.5 - 3 in. long. calyx a slightly toothed ring which is glandular pubescent. Bractioles coherentwhen young, inside covered with a short glandular pubescence, outside glabrous. Corolla 1.5 in. long, glabrous, whitish outside, lobes rounded, inside streaked with purpleand brown, the latter near centre. Style 1 to 1 1/8 in. long, stigma funnel shaped short, two lobed. Anther spurred at base; spurs flat, fimbriate. Ovary glabrous, shining.
