Description: A small tree with scarlet fruits containing 5 good seeds, superior. In fruit this agrees perfectly with dentriculata but in size [and] form of the leafit comes much nearer to I.thacfolius so that in my opinion the Manipur specimen reduces them to one species.
Miscellaneous notes: Ilex dunciana Watt. Is named in honour of my companion Capt. Dun. Referred to Kew; reply correct into 'no. 6165 Ilex sp.' Watt 7/6/83.
