Habitat: In low heathy woodland with Eucalyptus sp. (fibrous bark), Leptospermum sp., Persoonia, Mirbelia confertifolia, Xanthorrhoea, Acacia, Dillwynia rupestris, Comesperma, Grevillea acerata, Boronia anethifolia & Allocasuarina. Shallow gravelly yellow sand wiht granite outcrops & pavement on upper slopes of hill.
Description: Spreading to semi-erect shrub to 1.5 m. Buds black with grey hairs. Standard yellow with narrow red band, spot at base yellow. Back of standard almost completely yellow; margins undulating. Wings red with yellow from apex to midway, imbricate. Keel red on sides & yellow at base & apex. Flowers honey scented. Scattered, among rocks.
