Collecting locality: Thailand:Chiang Mai:Doi Chiang Dao, north side, above Sop Huay Pa [Dahng-Huay] Na Lao Forest Station.
Habitat: Partly open area in the decidous dipterocarp-oak forest, granite bedrock.
Description: Deciduous tree 12 m, dbh 26 cm; bark thin, roughly cracked & flaking, grey; latex from cut parts abundant, white; youngest branchlets dull greenish, older parts grey; staminate inflorescences pinkish to light orangish outside, light pinkish inside, anthers cream; female inflorescences few, whitish-cream outside, dark red inside; baldes glossy green above, light green bel.
