Habitat: Clairiere dans la foret des brouillards, parmi des groupements herbaces domines par Deschampsia klossii associes a des landes basses ouvertes et des fourres clairs a Cyathea tomentosissima.
Description: Souche verticale simple terminee par une rosette ou ramifiee en coussin hemispherique. Stipules des feuilles radicales a auricules connees. 4-5 petales jaunes. 3-5 etamines. Carpelles glabres.
