Habitat: On peaty accumulation on limestone boulder in low open forest on small limestone hill.
Description: Clump forming with only short rhizomes. Inflorescence basal. Outer tepals of flowers yellow with deep red tips inner tepals yellow, labellum creamy coloured, translucent. Stigma prominent dark red. Rhizome has mild pleasant gingery smell. Leaves to c. 3 m long.
