Habitat: In mossy forest.
Description: Tall herb, leafy stems to 3.5 m tall, glabrous. Rhizomes erect, with reddish stilt roots. Infl. from base, descending, flowers all upcurved (secund); calyx base deep magenta, petaloid staminodia white, anther white with broad ruffled crest.
