Collecting locality: Indonesia:Sulawesi Selatan:South Sulawesi. Enrekang District; Latimojong Mts.; flat area on shoulder of slopes c.4.5 km. west of Bunte Tjejang and c. 3 km. south east of Rantelemo village.
Habitat: Secondary grass cover on old abandoned rice fields; open; damp ground near olr irrigation pool.
Description: Very stout plant to 6 m.; c.20 leaves out at once, yellowish-green, undulate; infl. terminal to 75 cm. long; fls. (salmon-bronze in bud) with bronze outer tepals, cream labellum, and pink-flushed pollinia; frts. blue-green.
