Description: Aromatic herb, c.60 cm; leaves slightly fleshy; floral leaves green or with a darker tinge; corolla pale lilac white with a darker blotch at base of upper lip; one pair of stamens exserted, the other held within lower corolla lip under tension, release of this tension by pressure (or presumably in the wild by an insect pollinator) results in the lower lip springing back and the stamens being shot upwards.
