Habitat: In rather cool rocks and very steep banks of cool clammy soil that grows a fine film of moss
Description: Very general at low elevations in S.Kansu. Less saxatile than F.261 (not scent) which precisely resembles _Jankaea heldreichi_ with shaggier silver hairs and scapes of smaller lilac-blue _Streptocarpus_. Both species are only found at low elevations (up to 6,500 ft.) Flower Aug. 28. Seed ripe Nov. 1. Colour of flowers a pretty shrimpy pink with a bronzy tone.
