Habitat: Dominant over most of the ridge
Description: Tree, 5(-8)m; trunk to 30 diam., bark flaky as in _R. falconeri_; leaves cuneate, obovate, to 30 x 10cm, but mainly less than 20x5-7cm, rounded-mucronate to faintly emarginate at apex, base of leaf decurrent along the short, winged petiole, underside densely rufous-hairy as in _R. arizelum_; ovary rufous-hairy, 1-2.5cm
