Habitat: Elfin forest, c. 25 m high, overloaden with epiphytes on trunks and braches. top area, terrain sloping, deep clayey volcanic soil
Description: Creeping shrublet. Flowers red, throat paler so, occasionally flowers pale red
Miscellaneous notes: 1-layered hypodermis, no sclereids. Solitary flower suggests possible affinity with C.uniflora BLB from Sarawak (G.Mulu) - Note also sharp teeth - BLB
