Habitat: Long-abandoned small fields and banks near lip of scarp
Description: Hairy leafy herb 35cm tall with deeply lobed, crenate leaves. Bright red flowers 3.5cm wide with a narrow oval blotch at the base of each petal - sometimes ringed with white. Narrow cylindrical fruits to 22cm long with a flared stigma
