Habitat: Grows in sheltered and exposed places on several kinds of sandy soil. Facing south.
Description: Low growing shrub 1-4 ft high. Inclined to produced suckers and so make masses 12 ft across. Flowers orange yellow, fragrant, were damage by frost, stamens sensitive.
