Habitat: In Pinus dominated wood, at edge of field, co-dominants include Pseudotsuga and Abie.; drier site away from stream.
Description: Tree 20m; Fruit cone 25cm; Seeds 1-1.25cm, with only a rudimentary wing.
Miscellaneous notes: Seedling collected from within _Picea chihuahuana_ stand. Seedling to Kew - failed.
