Habitat: In claypan. Locally widespread, always in claypans
Description: Prostrate branching shrub with radiating stems to 1m long and small round leaves, young shoots and some leaves white downy, white flowers 3.5 cm wide with 2 green marks in throat and deep lilac filaments and anthers. Sweet scent. Ripe oval fruits split into segments which curl back to reveal grey seeds embedded in pink flesh. Night flowering
