Description: Note the close tufted habit, fleshy leaves, bulbous root (tubers?). The leves of these scree plants are very frequently somewhat dark or even red in colour (Scrophulariaceae) 'se also a tuberous root-system is frequent (Corydalis, Cruciferae etc.)
