Description: Erect plant of 2-3ft. Flowers 2-3 inches in diameter, bright azure blue. Filaments a deeper shade, anthers bright canary yellow. The flowers form a dense spike so cloesly arranged on the stem that when in ful bloom none of that is visible. Length of the stemm fully two feet, number of flowers 10-15: a most magnificent plant...leaves radicle from 3-6 inches in length same as _Glaucium luteum_ of Europe. Whole plant covered with reddish brown spinous hairs.
