Habitat: Cerrado sensu stricto with trees to c.14m.
Description: Small, slender tree, 2.5m tall, 2 cm dbh. Bark smooth, silvery grey, patterned with spots of tiny, white, horizontally ellongated lenticels. Leaves newly opened. Sepals, gynophore abd ovary green. Filaments waxy white, anthers very pale creamy yellow. Visited by great number of small Trigona bees.
