Habitat: In the deep limestone gorges, under the shadier wall of the cliffs. Cool grassy gully sides
Description: Petals etc. greeny yellow, lined maroon. Lip of waxy cream. Lined internally. Pulled in to a series of vandykes at the mouth, very glossy and fragrant.
Miscellaneous notes: Rare. Near fasciolatum and yunnanense. It is too small for typical faciolatum. No spec. of yunnanense at Edin or Kew for comparison. C. fasciolatum, Forrest says is non-fragrant. Colours different -- purplr. Yunnanense is white.
