Habitat: In flower only at top of pass in streams and boggy pasture, in midst of scrub Rhododendron
Description: Flowers purple, whole plant hairy, crimson hairs on scape. Mostly over. Height in flower 6 inches in fruit a foot. Scattered also under big Rhododendron bushes along path, not forming colonies here as it does in the open pass. (Allied to the Chinese group of Omphalogramma and not to O. elwesiana of Sikkim)
