Habitat: cool & open situations all over the high moors and coppice banks. very abundant indeed in rich moorland loam
Description: replacing P. farinosa in similar situations. Greyish & +/- farinose in shade, bright green & perfectly glabrous & farinose (except the bracts & pedicels) in the opener places where it usually & specially abounds. Stoloniferous.
