Habitat: Growing on steep slopes in a rich humus soil, usually in places which have been cleared of the taller grrowing trees through a dense lower tangle has aready re-established itself.
Description: Flowers bright pink, slightly less than 1/2' diameter. Leaves narrow, rather long somewhat deeply veinned, slightly harsh wtith a rusty colour. Stems upright, branching red, fleshy, to 18' tall, very brittle.
