Habitat: Forest (temperate evergreen)
Description: A large evergreen tree of the warm temperate forest belrm where it is apparently rather comon. flowers white. Styles usually 5. Leaves considerably larger than those of E. bengalensis. Inflorescences glabrous. More lide E. elliptica than E. bengalensis. Ovary and base of styles covered with a shaggy golden hair. Flowers with scent of hawthorn.
