Habitat: On open slopes with bamboo
Description: Small (6-8 ft) bush apparently diffused n the chinese side fo the pass on open slopes of the more stunted bamboo. This specimen just unfloding bloom in a warm gully; flowers scentless and fiery scarlet & profusely borne making a fine contrast with the foliage dark grey green with its white reverse
