Wilson Forest service road (close to a radio tower) Roberts Creek Lat/Long: 49°27'933’N : 123°40'602”W (WGS84) Alt.: 350m Description: Evergreen shrub to 4M x 6M with oblong-elliptic leaves to 15cm x 6cm, mid-green above and mid-glossy green below. Fruit a green/brown cylindrical capsule to 2cm x 0.5cm. Habitat: Localised in deep shade in moist humus rich loam on a moderate north facing mountainside of dense conifer forest under Pseudotsuga menziesii, Tsuga heterophylla and Abies amabalis with Gaultheria shallon.
