Kenn. & Nicolson Stann Creek: Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, within 500m of 12 km camp on Victoria Peak trail. 200 m 16°47'43" N, 88°32'26" W Fairly common large forest floor herb, 2m; leaf blade to about 0.7m; inflorescence emerging from base at plant; orange fruit, blue berries. Tropical, broadleaf lowland moist forest over granite. Valley floor, canopy dominated by Simarouba glauca, Attalea cohune & Spondias radlkoferi, growing with Heliconia spp..
