Collected as part of plot work, plot located close to a path leaving from the main gate of the estate. 5° 41'33" S, 78°46'04" W alt. 800m Seasonally dry forest vegetation on a slight slope, with Tabebuia chrysantha, Ceiba insignis, Sideroxylum obtusifolium, Ruprechtia aperta, Rhamnus, Jacquinia, Croton, Jatropha humboldiana, Capparis flexuosa, Ditaxis dioica, Zanthoxylum rigidum, Clusia sp, Praecereus euchlorus, Rauhocereus riosaniensis, and Browningia altissima. Forest has undergone selective logging in 1970's, but now regenerating. Woody liana with 4cm DBH. Bark soft, light brown, longitudinally striate. Cross section with rays starting from central phloem.
