W side of Gaoligong Shan, N of the old road from Baoshan to Tengchong via Dahaoping on a dirt track N of the bridge across the Longchang Jiang. Elev. 1335 m 25° 1’ 47" N, 98° 40° 49" E W facing 10-30° slope. Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest. Disturbed by clearing. Remnant trees and scrub in a E-W draw above the river. Terrestrial orchid. Flowers yellow, lateral lobes flushed red. Rare. Growing on a moist bank under shrubs. In loam on decomposed granite.
