Rhododendron Lusha, 10,000 ft. 19 v 1924 Flowers pure yellow or flushed ochre, mahogany or almost salmon pink. Abundant in birch copse, on the half sheltered slope of the mountain, extending thence up into the pine forest where small plants flower freely. The base of the filament of the upper { stamens is heavily whislered; in the lower 5 scarcely at all. Shrub of 2-8 ft.
