Cayo District. Chiquibul Forest Reserve. Junction of Chiquibul
and Caracol roads. 16°51'N 89°02'W. 400m.
Habitat: Disturbed open area, with abundant Cohune palm.
Notes: Small tree c.3m., dbh 7cm. Branches 4-angled. Flowers
blue-purple, lower lobe yellow-stained. Stamens with purple
filaments and white anthers.
