Alt. 100m ~~ c. 0°30’ S_ 117°25° E Small tree 10 m high; trunk 25 cm diam.; no buttresses: bark rather smooth, pale brown, flaking off; leaves coriaceous: petiole thickened at base and at apex; inflorescences on trunk below crown; fruit edible; peduncle and base inflorescence axe wine-red, shining; flowers pale green.
