Elev. 2760 m 27° 46’ 15" N, 98° 33’ 58" E Cool temperate coniferous forest with Tsuga and Picea mixed with broadleaf evergreen trees Tree ca. 5 m tall. Fruit green turning brown. Growing in clay on decomposing granite on steep slope below road. Only one population seen.
