Road along the S fork of the Yamu river, on the road to Armero pass, ca. 23 km SW of the confluence of the N and S forks of the Yamu, E side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 3022 m 27° 5’ 17" N, 98° 44’ 24" BE Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest with scattered Tsuga and some deciduous tree. Shrub, 3 m long. Corolla red with dark red spots on one side, 5 dark red nectaries at base. Growing on steep slope in forest.
