Toledo: Paynes Creek National Park; edge of Eleocharis marsh. 16°19'00" N, 88°34'49" W Rare (locally abundant) fleshy herb to 60 cm in open mud pool at centre of Eleocharis marsh. Transition between open Eleocharis marsh and open savanna grassland with extensive palmetto patches. Eleocharis-dominated marsh, ground still damp and wet at end of long dry season with small patch of open water at centre; fringed by numerous sedges. Not burnt recently.
