Flora of Belize Orobanchaceae Agalinis harperi Pennell ex Small Corozal: Sarteneja; 4 Km Southwest of Sarteneja; transition between lowland forest on limestone and mangrove lagoon. 18°18'59" N, 88°09'40" W Occasional (locally abundant at edge of forest islands) herb: green leaves; pale pink flowers with 2 yellow stripes & purple spots on inside of corolla tube. Open saline coastal savanna. Open grassland dominated by Distichlis spicata & sedge (50%) with occasional dwarfed Cameraria latifolia, Jacquinia macrocarpa, Avicennia germinans, Conocarpus erectus var. sericeus & rare Manilkara zapota. Frequent lowland deciduous forest islands with Bravaisia berlandieriana, Thrinax radiata, frequent Metopium brownei, Acacia sp & Gymnopodium floribundum. Some areas with exposed mud & limestone outcrops, 20%: area frequented & burnt by local deer hunters however not burnt for at least 4 years. Collector: Goodwin, Zoé A.
