ROYAL BOTANIC GARDEN HERB. HORT. EDINB. Flora of Belize Lamiaceae Hyptis conferta Pohl ex Benth. Det: Goodwin, Z.A.; Lopez, G.N. 18 February 2011 Toledo: Paynes Creek National Park; ~2 Km Northeast of Punta Ycacos (Cocoa plum) Lagoon & Rangers Station. 16°22'06" N, 88°35'39" W Occasional herb (around palmetto) to 50 cm. Open savanna grassland. Occasional Byrsonima crassifolia 20 cm (50 cm). Herb layer co-dominated by grasses and sedges (Goodwin 1304 & Goodwin 1206), 40%, 2 months since prescriptive burn, previously not burnt for 4 years.
