Open woody savanna with large white, sandy patches, palmetto clumps & small oak thickets. Occasional Quercus oleoides (locally abundant) 5 m, frequent Pinus caribaea 5-8 m, Curatella americana 3 m, Acoelorraphe wrightii 3 m & Chrysobalanus icaco | m. Grass dominated herb layer in oak thicket.
